Narrative Description of Project Micro Enterprise Development Programme is implemented by Government of Nepal, Ministry of Industry with technical and financial support from United Nations Development Programme. Goal of the program is socio economic empowerment of rural poor households especially women through micro enterprises. Narrative Description of Project For internalization of MEDEP programme, MoU was signed between MEDEP and DDC. In this MoU upscaling activities was with support from MEDEP and creation and development of new micro entrepreneurs was through DDC. So in this assignment following major activities has been carrying out
Program implemented locations: 33 VDCs out of 41 from Myagdi district. Major beneficiaries are peoples below poverty line and special focus was on women, socially excluded communities and unemployed youths.
Output: More than 300 micro entrepreneurs has been created and developed during this period, of which more than 70% are women. |
